Below we summarize the procedure for exercising warranty claims, statutory guarantee rights, and the right of withdrawal. Please read the following carefully.
Reporting a Fault
You may initiate a warranty or statutory guarantee claim through the website by logging into your customer account and using the fault reporting function available for the given product.
If your user account is not accessible for technical reasons, you may also report your claim via email at info@vadalarm.hu.

Warranty Service
Within 24 months from the date of purchase, the product may be returned for repair under warranty.
Please return the device in clean condition. If the product arrives at our service department without being cleaned, a cleaning fee of 5 EUR will be charged.
During inspection, we determine whether the defect is covered by warranty.
If the defect results from manufacturing or material fault, repair costs are covered by us.
If no technical defect is found, or the defect results from improper use, the justified inspection cost is borne by the customer. The inspection fee is 8 EUR.
Please note that the products are not compatible with fast chargers. If the device is returned due to charging issues caused by the use of a fast charger and no technical defect is found, the inspection fee will be charged.
The protective foil covering the solar panel must be removed before use. If the foil burns onto the surface and reduces performance, this does not qualify as a warranty defect. Removal of burnt foil is carried out for a service fee of 9.2 EUR.
The maximum repair time is 2 weeks.
Home Repair – At Your Own Responsibility
To reduce unnecessary shipping and support DIY users, since the first half of 2021 we offer the possibility of home repair under the following conditions:
Exercising the Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Statutory Period)
The money-back guarantee may be exercised within 14 days from receipt of the product, provided that the product was not custom-made or modified upon request.
You may indicate your intention to withdraw via the return function in your customer account.
If your account is not accessible, you may notify us via email at info@vadalarm.hu.
From the date of notification, you must return the device within no later than 14 days.
Withdrawal is not dependent on the condition of the packaging or whether the product is unopened. However, you are liable for any depreciation resulting from use beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.
In case of withdrawal, the purchase price and the cost of the cheapest standard delivery method will be refunded within 14 days from receipt of the returned product.
Return shipping costs are borne by you.
Voluntary +14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
In addition to the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, we provide an additional voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee, giving you a total of 28 days to decide.
The voluntary guarantee may be exercised within 14 days following the expiry of the statutory withdrawal period.
You must clearly notify us of your intention during this period and return the product within 14 days of notification.
The voluntary guarantee does not apply to custom-made or modified products.
You may test the product during this period; however, if usage exceeds what is necessary for testing, the resulting depreciation may be deducted from the refund.
Return shipping costs are borne by you.
Refund Method
If you prefer to receive the refund by bank transfer, please provide your bank account details.
If no bank details are provided, the refund will be made using the original payment method.
Return shipping costs are not refundable in case of withdrawal.
Device Replacement
A replacement device is provided if the product has failed three times.
If the product was defective upon purchase and reported within 3 days of receipt, a new device will be sent automatically. If reported after 3 days, the product will be repaired.
Replacement Device During Repair
If, for reasons such as lack of parts or capacity, we are unable to repair the product within 14 days, we may provide a replacement device during the repair period.
The replacement device must be returned after receipt of the repaired product.
Upon prior agreement with customer service, the courier delivering the repaired device may collect the replacement device at the same time.
If you hold a Vadalarm Premium membership, different conditions apply: Premium members are entitled to a replacement device for the entire duration of the repair, not only if the repair exceeds 14 days.
