In other words, simple keychain-style trackers have nothing to do with real GPS tracking. Airtag and other cheap trackers do not contain a GPS module, only Bluetooth. Their position is detected and sent by nearby smartphones passing by. This solution works efficiently only in large cities. Our GPS solution, however, works on a hilltop, in the middle of a lake, or in remote fields, as the built-in mobile internet chip sends its position to our server. This service has maintenance costs.

No, you won’t need anything extra for the Vadalarm Tracker. The monthly subscription fee covers this for you.
To cancel your subscription, send an email to info@vadalarm.hu and we will delete it immediately. Your device remains active until the next billing date. After that, you will no longer be able to query its location.
We selected a provider with sufficient coverage across the entire EU for operating the Vadalarm Tracker.
Currently we do not offer annual billing, but if this changes in the future, we will notify our subscribers.
When selecting your package, check the option for a 12V car adapter. With it, you can connect the tracker directly to your vehicle’s battery. Simply plug the USB-C end into the Tracker and you’re ready.
Use the QR code card included with the product to register your device in the Vadalarm Smart app, and you will immediately see its battery status. We intentionally did not add buttons so it cannot be turned off.
We equipped the Vadalarm Tracker with a battery that can power it for up to two weeks, so you don’t have to worry about quick discharge. If you provide continuous power, for example from a vehicle battery using our adapter, it will never run out. Exact consumption depends on mobile coverage and how often the device moves. If it stays still for long periods, it lasts longer.
The Vadalarm Tracker is designed for outdoor use. Its housing provides IP65 protection. It can handle water and dust, but please do not submerge it.
